We worked with Robin to produce some short films for a new website all about taking part in a mental health research study. We are really pleased with the final films and enjoyed working with Robin to achieve what was not an easy brief.

Vanessa Pinfold – Co-founder and Research Director – The McPin Foundation

“I would like to express my gratitude for the excellent service we have received from RKD Films. They have provided us with an extremely professional and efficient service but have also managed to remain sensitive and patient.

The DVD we produced reflected some of the challenges experienced by children, young people, adults and their families who live with one the most rare and complex conditions in the world. We also addressed some culturally sensitive issues and the DVD has managed to capture everything we envisaged at the start of this project. I really do feel that this DVD will support newly diagnosed families, increase understanding of the condition and help us to raise awareness.

On behalf of Alström Syndrome UK, our families and the health professionals involved, thank you Robin and Vinod, we will certainly be recommending you to others!”

Kerry Leeson-Beevers – Development Manager – Alström Syndrome UK.

Working with RKD Films has been an absolute pleasure. I was particularly impressed with their professionalism, down to earth approach and excellent attitude to young people who are new to acting and filming. this made the young people enjoy the film project immensely.  RKD Films gave our young people a wonderful experience in producing a short film on the issues surrounding substance misuse and abuse.  The output is excellent and all involved were extremely happy.

From all the young folk and the team: Well done and thank you! You are the best!!”

Caleb Nyanni- Chair of ‘Spark Alive’ Sparkbrook, Senior Minister of Sparkbrook Christian Centre.

As a newly appointed C.E.O I inherited certain tasks that had been left unfinished.  One of these tasks was to create a DVD which would help professionals to identify and support unpaid carers amongst their clients.  An attempt had been made to create such a DVD, which had gone badly wrong and I felt it was in the organisation’s best interests to start again.  But with whom?
By pure luck I selected RKD. The Video and Media Producer, Robin, was easy to talk to.  He was professional and supportive, knew instantly what was needed and made a considerable effort to understand the ethos of our work.  This is important when capturing emotions and feelings on film.
Robin ensured that I never felt overwhelmed or out of my depth during the task at hand and very firmly encouraged me to meet deadlines.  He also coordinated the task to such a degree that the whole experience felt seamless.
I would definitely use this company again and I would not hesitate to recommend RKD and Robin to your company.
